В целях обеспечения безопасности и защиты населения от новой коронавирусной инфекции Правительством РФ издано распоряжение от 16 марта 2020 г. № 635-р, которым въезд для иностранных граждан и лиц без гражданства, в том числе граждан Республики Беларусь ограничен1 в период с 00 часов 18 марта до 00 часов 1 мая текущего года. Ограничение не распространяется на:
сотрудников дипломатических представительств, консульств иностранных государств в РФ, иных международных организаций и официальных представительств, работающих на территории РФ, а также членов их семей; водителей международного автомобильного сообщения, экипажей воздушных, морских и речных судов, поездных и локомотивных бригад международного железнодорожного сообщения; членов официальных делегаций; лиц, имеющих дипломатические, служебные, обыкновенные частные визы, выданные в связи со смертью близкого родственника; лиц, постоянно проживающих на территории РФ; лиц, следующих транзитом через воздушные пункты пропуска.

Территориальным органам МВД России поручено с 00 часов по местному времени 18 марта приостановить прием, оформление и выдачу документов на въезд в РФ иностранцев для трудоустройства, на выдачу разрешений на использование труда иностранцев и разрешений на работу указанным лицам. МИД России также должен приостановить с указанного времени прием, оформление и выдачу визовых документов, за исключением виз для тех иностранных граждан, на которых ограничение по въезду в Россию не распространяется.
