Госдума РФ одобрила в первом чтении законопроект, который позволит лишать гражданства РФ лиц, осужденных по статьям «терроризм» и «экстремизм». 398 депутатов поддержали закон. Голосов против и воздержавшихся не было. Об этом сообщает РИА Новости.Авторами закона выступили лидеры всех парламентских фракций, а также Ирина Яровая и спикер Госдумы Вячеслав Володин. Законопроект расширит понятие «ложные сведения», которые являются основанием для отказа в предоставлении гражданства.
К таким сведениям отнесут отсутствие намерения «нести обязанности, установленные законодательством РФ» и желание получить гражданство для осуществления «деятельности, представляющей угрозу основам конституционного строя Российской Федерации», отмечает RT.в Апреле президент России Владимир Путин заявил, что РФ не последует примеру Казахстана и не будет лишать гражданства россиян, примкнувших к террористическим организациям, так как лишение гражданства запрещено Конституцией, однако у властей может появиться возможность отменять решения, послужившие основанием для предоставления российского гражданства.
